Our programs are managed by a caring staff; camp is located at a convenient location in the community; the cost is one of the best deals in town; and the hours are not only long, but the BEST IN TOWN!

We strive to have a moderate student to faculty ratio to maximize educational opportunities and to facilitate learning. We work to create a camp environment that is most enjoyable for the participants.

The GVR Metropolitan District offers several youth and teen camps each year. The camps are based upon the school schedules for the Denver Public Schools within the District. Spring day camp is held during the week of spring break, summer day camp is offered for each day that any of the above schools are out for the summer and winter day camp operates during the period that students are out of school for the holidays.

There is a one-time, yearly registration fee of $25.00 per participant that is paid the first time a youth (ages 5 yrs. – 12 yrs.) is signed up for any Community Program Camp. Associated with this fee is a set of yearly Registration Forms that are completed only once each year.

To obtain the “Registration Forms” and the “Weekly Enrollment Agreement”, please call La Vetta Murray (Community Programs Manager) at 720-641-4801 or via email

The District offers Adult and Senior Day Trips and Programs. These are offered at various times during the year. Day Trips change from year to year. These trips will provide you the convenience to experience a great social opportunity without the headache of coordinating a ride and worrying about getting tickets.  Sign up today!  Registration documents, with emergency contact information required.
