THE SERVICES OF THE GVR METROPOLITAN DISTRICT

The Service Plan of the District, which was approved by the City Council of the City and County of Denver, authorized the District to provide, among other services, design and construction of street improvements; sanitation sewer facilities, which upon completion were conveyed to the City and County of Denver; water system facilities, which upon completion were conveyed to the Denver Board of Water Commissioners; storm sewer and drainage facilities, which upon completion were conveyed to the City and County of Denver; and to provide park and recreation services and facilities, including the operation and maintenance of public open spaces, recreation facilities and programs for community benefit, which properties and programs are owned and operated by the District.

With a new agreement with the Master Homeowners Association for Green Valley Ranch, and a modification to the service plan, the District may provide covenant enforcement and related services to the community as well.

2015 Stategic Plan

In 2011 the Board updated the Strategic Plan with a new vision statement for the community.  That statement is posted on the front page of our website.  The full update to the Strategic Plan is on hold until the District completes the Master Plan for Parks and Recreation services that started in July 2012.
